Question New Member- Need HELP

I had an accident with my 2007 Montero Sport. While the engine was off, it rolled off an embankment, flipped over to one side, and crashed into a flat slope below. The bumper is screwed, and the side panels need body work. The radiator was not damaged. But the weird thing is that the engine won't start, as the crankshaft won't rotate, even when a wrench is applied.

What could have happened that could cause this?

Hello, I have 2014 Outlander Sport that shut off in the middle of the road, and now it will not start at all. It is displaying ASC system service required and engine overheating messages across my dashboard. I just replaced my starter, why won't it start?

You parked it in neutral and didn't set the parking brake. THAT's what happened. If you did have it in PARK, then you had a parking pall failure.
Your engine probably won't start, because you hydro-locked it with oil that ran into the left side cylinders while it sat on its side.
