I just bought a 1998 eclipse rs...manual tranny..I wanna high performance it....I need ideas...suggestions..what parts do i need to make her beautiful and fast.....

 

hey juelznyc, welcome to the boards! if you got questions, we have answers. first thing I need to know though, is are you going for SHOW or GO? you want fast, but you want looks too... you have to decide where to go first.

welcome aboard. air flow first: intake, header, exhaust.That will get you started.

 

adda boy madmat. I/H/E first things first. then maybe fuel upgrade...turbo kit.
then stickier (is that a word?) tires. I hate launching and not grabbin **** till 2nd

 

stickier is indeed a word at least as far as we are concerned.[sm=smiley8.gif] all the the hp in the world is useless if it's not kinetic see, we car guys can use edumakated words too.

Thanx guys for the input but one question BurntGSX or madmat...what kinda turbo kit will fit my RS...cuz every turbo kit i see say that its for the already turbo eclipse i.e. the gst and the gsx...

Howdy all, if you just bought this 98' rs and need advice on easy GO mods...check out www.2gnt.com....is specifically for non-turbo 2nd generation eclipses and talons. They have a whole page dedicated to where to start on mods and such...really simple to navigate!
