Hello everyone! Just surfed in and wanted to pick a few people's brains on an issue I'm having with a 2000 Eclipse GT 3.0, my transaxle started acting funny a month ago, the car would go into gear, then go to neutral, then back into gear, back to neutral harshly.until it warmed up. well, it finally went into the dreaded "Limp Home Mode" and I figured it was fried, so I bought a used transaxle with 60K miles on it, once I had it all re-installed, new fluid, new filtewr (had to split the case for that) and got it warmed up, went to test drive it, as soon as it went to second gear, jerked hard, then the neutral light started flashing and the cel came on.
I got codes P0750 and p0755 (shift solenoids A&B malfunction) I took the solenoids out, cleaned them and tested them with 12 volts, but I am not sure what the resisitance should be on them, I got like 3.5 ohms.
anyone have this issue before after installing a used transaxle? could it be that even after clearing the dtc's I still need to have the PCM reflashed?
