Hi, I'm from IL and we purchased a 08 XLS Outlander. Wife wants a remote start system installed. Anyone have any news if there is any systems out there yet? Thanks

 

welcome! there are tons of remote start systems out there, i personally dont know too much about them, but im sure there is someone on here that can help

 

you can actually get one put in at the dealerships. it is pricey especially with the fastkey system. ive heard its anywhere from 300-700. you might want to phone your parts guy at the dealership to see if they can give you a quote. i dont know if you want to go with a futureshop or besybuy kind of system for it. ive heard of their techs messing up the security systems when installing the remote starters.
