Well Mitsu's do break alot. DSM ecclipse's in particular but EVOs a generally fine. Toyota is way more reliable than ANY mustang will ever be. You want a car that can run 9s without doing and motor build up not even cams. the supras have done that. Supras make over 1000HP with only a built head the motor itself is so strong it will take all most anything an average person can give it

Yea I have a DSM mitsu with a broken trans. It's quite lovely. Lol. Not!

I have a Scion for the mean while and I LOVE it. It is a quick little car and it looks good and has been reliable so far.
We'll see...im so lost right now in the process of buying a new car. :/

I say MITSU>FORD>DSM (DSM get there own branck off because they are always broken compaired to other cars in the mitsu line up_)

Speakin of reliability....look at mercedes benze and porche and other euro brands as well as domestics in the 2007 buyers guides....the reliability history is pathetic....a 180,000$ mercedes was rated at much worse then average. Now look at Asian vehicles like Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai....all rated much better then average reliability history on the majority of their vehicles. Hope that helps i found it interesting.
