I took my 2010 3.0 outlander for its service since I purchased it about a week ago, however my mechanic told me that he would be using platinum spark plugs for my car. According to the user manual it asks for NKG iridium spark plugs, but when I checked them out, they were pretty expensive. I've always used platinum spark plugs on my other cars (jeep patriot and audi Q7) and I had no idea iridium plugs existed.

Which ones would you recommend I use? Do you guys have any experience using either or?
