Previous owner of 99 Eclipse GS. I've Had my 06 Eclipse GT for three yrs Now. Thinking of trading it in for 08 Lancer GTS. My friends think i'm a little crazy like i'm downgrading but i would get Evo but it's a little costly. I'm Still thinkin about it by the way my eclipse has 32k on it.

 

What is your reason for wanting the change?

 

Gas prices my gt takes premium gas I know Lancer takes Reg but i'm losing almost 100 hp between the two

 

Indeed you are....does it make that big of a difference to you?

 

Not Really im not a racer or anything. I don't need all that hp. Plus that Lancer GTS has 168 hp with a cvt trans looks good too. I'm just not sure have to think it over good

Don't get the CVT for MPG... it sucks

 

The new lancer ralliart will be out in a year or two...then you get the look of the lancer with awd and turbo for much cheaper then an evo .......but if you want better gas mileage get the lancer gts 5 speed.
