hello everyone

I am currently driving a 2005 Honda Accord (my fathers) and i don't like it much
i am going to be purchaseing a car this comming week and i have found two mitsubishi's for under 10k that i like and i was wondering what people tought would be better for a first time Mitsubishi owner. i am looking at a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT GT SL and 2001 & 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. i was wondering what would be a better car for me?
i really like them both looks wise but i was wondering what would be faster? what would be the most reliable? Over all im just looking for a deciently fast car that has room for some mods and that won't have a butt load of problems. I don't know much about cars but i want to learn and any info or personal opinons would be awesome. thanks

Eclipse is lighter but the 3000GT you can swap in the TT parts or motor and have FWD vr4 basically. all $$$$$ mods but still.

 

I think we need to find out what he is actually looking for in a car in order to say what would be more suited. Agreed?
