yes. My g/f didn't know anything about car and went bought a used 96 mitsubishi. She drove home with almost no coolant liquid , 1/6 oil in the engine and lucky it didn't smoke and kill the car. she got it since nov last year and i just had a change to take a look at it.
when she turned on the car, the engine is so loud. we went to buy coolant fluid and oil and oil filter also air filter for the car. After fill it up and the engine is a bit less noisy like it was before but still there is still noise from the engine.
My next thing i need to do for her car is to replace the brake fluid , steering fluid, changing the brakes pads and drum shoes rotors . the last thing is to replace the water pump and line going up onto the hood. I need to replace the whole window washer and spray hose i think . I don't know where to buy a whole kit. Hopefully i can find it at a junk yard. Next thing is to give her my current tires to transfer to to her rim. She has an after market rim came with the car. Her current tires have cracks and very terrible. not safe to drive either. so that is about it.. Looking to spend like another$250- $500 to fix it up.. with my own labor and time..
