I'm a new member of this forum.
I'm trying to change the spark plugs for my friend's Lancer CH MY 2005.
Apparently the engine light comes on sometimes and the op.manual indicates that the car should not be driveable for long distances.
My friend said that it may need a change of spark plugs as these have not been changed for a while.
I've removed the black cover over the engine and I suspect that they are aligned along the back of the engine, but probably need to remove some kind of a 'rod' connection.
I have no manual or repair book to find out some instructions as to how to go about this.
Numerous internet searches did not explain step-by-step of this process for this particular car.
Any input from mechanics too will be appreciated.
