Hi all fellow mitsu owners,

I just bought a '00 Galant ES (2.4L I4 auto, 94K miles) as a pre-owned last week.
The car looks good, and I'm impressed by the performance.
So far I've brought it in for a tune-up and an oil change. The windshield washer pump didn't work, so I had that replaced. Also replaced air filter. Fluids look fine.
The car vibrates whenever I stop at a light. I figure it's probably the motor mount. No big deal, I just shift it to neutral or P at a light.
The steering column vibrates at 65~70 mph. My guess is the tires are out of balance. The previous owner somehow had a few lugnuts drilled too deep with only a small length of them still sticking out, so I have yet to find a place with the appropriate socket to loosen them so that I can have the tires rotated and balanced.

Other than those issues, I'm quite satisfied with the car. I had two Toyota's before (both reached >220K miles before I decided to get rid of them), I currently have a Mazda (120K miles) which my wife uses to drive to work. This Mitsu is my commute car, and I work only 7 miles from where I live. I hope I can get along with it.

Looking forward to chat with and learn from you all.
