Just wanted to get in good graces with all (and suck up to the admin). I've confirmed a problem with the daughters (new to us) 03 Eclipse through ya'll, and wanted to say I hope I can add back some knowledge in later posts.

The Clutch slave cylinder went south, $77 bucks local Mitsui dealer $39 internet.

hahaha welcome to the forums. I actually know those eclipses pretty well I owned 2 of them. a 2000 4G64 GS and a 2002 6g72 spyder GT

The take abuse well they dont take boost well (at least the 6g72 anyway) the main issues with these cars is small retarded things like noisy throw out bearings, faulty sunroofs, rear corner markers (the red lights go out ALOT) , the center clock speakers suck, the dash board will most likly crack, the rotors are soft and warp easy..... I could go on and on and on and on.....

Yep I read where the clutch goes bad quick too. Along with thin paint and several other things. Her first Stick and she learned Real fast Thank goodness for that after I read about the clutches!
It only has 31,000 on it now so maybe it'll hold up for awhile.

Shouldn't the 5year 60,000 miles cover the slave cylinder? It's part of the Powertrain and Not the actual clutch.
I think I pissed them off at the stealership [X(] talking to them about their quality products as they compare toprice and after market products and their price; so they are kinda slack in talking to me now.
No problem, I'll just go one town over from now on. [8D]
