Hello everyone. This is rastaman70. I just bought
My first mirage 2001 ES 5 speed. I initially bought this vehicle because it was cheep and readily available. But in the three weeks now that I've owned it has awakened a new energy in me. I'm 40 year old but I feel like an teen again. Cause I wanna convert this sleeper into an head Turner.
I'm wanting to start doing my own maintenance and upgrade projects. Any hints advice and websites would be good.

New '13 Outlander Sport Owner Here
Hi all-
I'm a very recent Mitsubishi convert - picked up a 2013 Outlander Sport SE as my family needs a bit more space (and it's one of the few SUVs with a manual transmission available). I previously owned a VW and Mercedes that I did lots of DIY work and repairs on. I'm hoping to do the same with this car, too.
Some of the documentation out there seems to be lacking between my former German love and current Japanese affair, and I'm hoping some experienced forum members can help me out. Probably the easiest question is what models/years share similar parts with my '13 Outlander Sport?
And as a new owner, where can I find:
- Parts list or catalog (usually an online database or PDF of expanded/blown apart diagrams of assemblies)
- Aftermarket stereo installation (wire harness diagram, past user experiences, etc)
- Oil changes: I like the greater interval with synthetic...which oil filter to use? (I've seen a number of different ones cited in the forums)
...and I'm sure I'll find a service interval checklist somewhere here too (I'm just going to play it safe and assume the previous owner didn't change the filters, etc; and I'll do them now)
Most of all, thanks in advance to the active forum members! These places have always been a godsend of information and outstanding community!!
