Need advice pls. I have a 21 plate Shogun Sport 4 2.4 diesel. My coolant level is half way between low and full ( I know that’s fine at the moment) but should I need to top it up what coolant should I use? I called into my nearest Mitsubishi dealership yesterday to buy some but they were out of it!! I asked the lady on reception what one should I use and she said the long life red? I have no idea what that is but my coolant is blue!
When I put my vehicle reg in to purchase coolant in Halford it tells me that none they stock is suitable! Surely this can’t be the case?
Please can someone kind advise me here?

The long life blue which is in your sport is specific to Mitsubishi. I do not know if a Halfords coolant is compatible, but to top it up i would use some de ionised water rather than mix coolant colours,

When you say halfway... is that going by the level on the expansion bottle on the inner wing? That should be between min and max when engine is hot, as it changes when engine is cold and hot.
