doing my boost test today im not sure if the test will show leaks in the intercooler piping and the intake manafold or just the intercooler piping. After pressurizing the system up to 10psi i would loose it in a matter of seconds. The only leak i founf was a crack in the intercooler piping were the core welds to the end cap. I dont know if that leak would cause a rough idle and loose of vacuum, going to get it fixed regardless. Put everthing back together and just ran wasegate instead of boost controller and it would only hold 4psi depending on which gear it would sometimes drop off. ? does the test read everything or do i have to connect the tester to the tb to find leaks in the intake vacs or gasekets. thanks

 

After you fix that leak... test again. Thats the only way!

Where did you ge that intercooler from? Did you get a warrenty with it?

 

i got the intercooler from road race motorsports. no warrenty but im going to call tommorrow cause i got the intercooler about 3 1/2 months ago and i really only put 300 miles on it then i started having problems. Im going to put a piece of straight pipe in the intercoolers place and run it non intercooled just to see if the prob goes away.
