Well the best thing you can do is go forced induction in the form of a turbocharger. You unfortunatly have the GTS and that has super sh!tty pistons. So, if you want to do that then i would suggest changing to forged pistons/rods... then when you do that you will need Greddy E-Manage and injectors and a fuel pump. You will also need a new clutch at that point.. and probably a limited slip differential.... and when your finally done you wont be able to put any of that power down anyway because its front wheel drive.

Have you ever thought about getting a GSX?

Yea sebba is right, with the GTS which is different from the GT because it has more power from stock but unfortunetely they have higher compression pistons which as you should know higher compression is worse for forced induction. And getting to 300WHP is not gonna be easy without FI

1. GSX's are all wheel drive turbos. Either a 1G or 2G would work, also Talon TSI AWD's are the same thing just a slightly different body style. DSM's are pretty easy/cheap to mod but they do break so take care of it.
2. Yes it would cost more than its worth to get the numbers you want out of your 3G.

DSM = Diamond Star Motors. They include all Mitsubishi Eclipses 1990-1999 (1st generation stops at 94) all Eagle Talons 1990-1998 an Plymouth Laser too.

The GSX is basically the all wheel drive model and it the best for modding, purly because of all wheel drive. The GST has the same engine only its front wheel drive.

They are absolutly awesome for modding.
