Default conversion

im taking the turbo engine out of a 91 talon tsi fwd and putting it in my 94 eclipse gs 2wd. my question is, do i need the wiring harness out of the talon in order to get the engine to run?

you might need to use the ecu from the talon. Not totally sure though

When in doubt if using the engine from another car always use that same wireharness and ecu. Would save a lot of hassle.

you wont need the harness and but the ecm.

To true! thats a man speaking from experiance! always use the harness and ecu from the donor engine. if you leave it connected when you take out the engine you may find you can sometimes (not always) just "plug and play"

so the majority of you guys are saying i jus need the ecu, but no wiring harness? correct. thanx for all the input.

Still think you should take both the ecu and wiring harness
