intercooler question
i had a 99' civic si that was turbocharged...i recently stripped it and bought a 97 gst..i want to take the front mount intercooler from the civic and put it on my eclipse....what kind of piping will i need to do this sucessfully? ive been searching for days to try and find a pipe kit for a front mount but i can only find kits for the stock side mount? please help!
Definitely go custom, burnt is right. But if you want to be the coolest kid on your block and spend mad cash, HK$ makes an FMIC conversion kit. They match it to the intercoolers they sell seperately(what a jip), so if your intercooler matchs the dimensions and inlet/outlet of one of their intercoolers, then you're cool. Now this may run you upwards of $500....when a good exhaust shop or even decent welder friend can make you some pipes and stuff for under $150. But if you go HK$, you can get that cool little 2"x3" sticker for your fender....pretty cool.
if you haven't already, yes, I upgraded with the greddy kit, its like $250 or so, but is very nice.
oh, and about that cool little vinyl... it would be cheaper just to buy the vinyl.. don't pay $500 for a 2"x3" sticker!!
