Default Need Some Help

Ok i need some help i'm looking to get rid of my stock turbo off my gst spyder and i'm thinking of going with a 16g turbo but i need to know if thats a good choice or if theres a different turbo you think i should go with.

First off, what are you expecting out of your car? What is your HP expectation? Go from there.

To answer your question, yes, an Evo 16g (why get the other variants when this one costs the same and is better?) is a great street and streetable turbo. I recommend perhaps a 50 trim type turbo or larger since your FWD. Don't forget about fuel upgrades, logger, and tuning device of some sort too.

ok i'm going all forged and building my motor up pretty good and go with a bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors cause wanna run about 28 pounds and be around 4 or 500 horse

Yeah a 16g wont do u any good, you'll need something bigger.

So what turbo do you suggest i get then if a 16g is gonna be too small??

honestly 400-500hp is way to much for a FWD car. I would stick with 16g and looking for something in the 300-350hp range. That will be plenty of power to get you into the 12's

Agreed, especially if "streetability" is key.

ok so just stay with a 16g and just get between like 300 & 350 horse... but what if i want to run better then twelves...

You can run 12's or betterw/ the 16g I wouldn't waste the money "building" an engine. Stock will hold up fine.

well if you really want to go all out on the car and try to get below the 12's in the FWD car then you will need slicks on the front and also LSD for the tranny.
