I dunno how they are.. Im gonna be putting a 1st gen bov on my spyder next week.. But I also have one of those ebay knock offs sittin in my garage.. So I could hook that up and see how it is and let ya know..

Welcome to MF 95gsxny
I see that you want to start modifying your GSX. The first stage in this is the engine's condition. A tune up is always a good thing to do first and to make sure that it's running good.
Here's a good site that give you an upgrade path. The way you're going is "normal" for newbies, but far from suggested.

just got the turbo xs rfl bov in today and installed it. works perfect and so reallt good

Good, Ive been so busy with work lately I havnt had time to get the flange put in and test that bov yet..

ya im probably going ot get an exhaust for it this week and do the either magnacor or nology hot wires and plugs. also i was told that the bov does add any power but it fells like the turbo pulls a little harder. maybe its just me

^^^it's just you, the valve has nothing to do with how the turbo spools.
