Default Question about turbo

Hey guys. I picked up a turbo the other day after selling my 57trim. I got a really good deal on it (well atleast thats what i think). Right now Im trying to find out what model it is but im having trouble finding it. I looked all over the internet and even took it to the guys that do my work and they really couldnt tell me. So i thought I would try one more place. The turbo is a Garrett T4 .65a/r coldside and 1.05a/r hotside. Can anyone help me out and tell me what turbo this is. I was gonna put it on my car but when I showed the guys it they said I would run into problems. So most likely im gonna sell it but I wanna find out 1st what type of Garrett it is and the retail price. The turbo is in perfect condition. No shaft play. I wanna say its never been used but Im not 100% sure. Can someone help me out and tell me what turbo this is? If not im gonna call Garrett tomorrow and give them the s/n and p/n thats on the turbo and they might be able to tell me. Thanx Guys!!

I called one of the distributors today of Garrett and gave them a part number of the turbo and they said it was a turbo for turbo diesel trucks. So Itraded boy for another turbo today and got a 76trim. I'll post some pictures of it as soon as I can. I think I might sell this turbo and go with a FP Green setup.

why are you looking for a turbo that big like a 76 trim. how much power do you really plan on going for. Definetly get something smaller. The FP green in a good turbo but i think if your looking for 400hp then the 20g would do, if your looking for 500hp then i guess the green is good or a 50 trim which i think has better spoolup than the green, but any more than that and you want the FP3052

wow, that 76 is a big turbo!! Not really a good one for a dsm.. Unless your building a track terror.. I have the 20g fp turbo and it spools up a little slower but by 3500 rpms your putting some serious power to the ground.. The Green or the red would even be more, but your looking at a slower spool up time... Better for interstate or the strip..

what kind of power are you looking for? i say go w/ the fp3052 you can push anywhere from 400-550whp with that depending on ur boost setting and tune.
