T3/T4 50TRIM

I heard that the 50 trim is better than a 16g is it true?

the T3\T4 is usually better, i would talk with tearstone about this turbo I am pretty sure he is running it or has.

not really looking at a particular 50 trim. but i was hoping u could recommend 1. and what are the pros and cons of both?

The t3/t4 style turbo is a dual ball bearing turbo(unless other wise noted)... so it will give you a faster spool, where the 16g is not.

I think what your really looking for is what would be the best setup turbo wise... if that is the case I would suggest calling up sbr and talk to a tech about what your running now and your goals hp wise and see what setup would suit you best. Or i may be wrong and your just looking for simple facts about the turbos which in that case the statment above is all that i have to offer besieds other baskic stuff like different flanges.

Not too fond of the whole sbr movement. arnt there 16g facing away from the intercooler. i dont know if u know what im saying.

that compressor housing can face any way, that bolts on and off and you can flip it around if you so deisre.... at least thats how my t3 was.

You can't just pick a turbo out of the blue and ask how good it is. Turbos have to be properly sized for your application, displacement and boost requirements.

I have tried to stress that point....but hey.....thats why I keep telling you guys take time to learn how to read and compare compressor maps. You do that and then you will be able to pick a nice turbo for your setup and or potential goal.
