i have access to a garret t3 turbo for free and i need a new wastegate so i was wondering if that turbo would work for my 1990 gst instead of paying for a new wastegate, let me know if it is possible, thanks

T3 tells us really nothing about the turbo. most likely it will work you would just need to get a manifold to fit it. But we would really need more info on it. All the t3 is saying is the turbine housing which the compressor housing is really the important info

 

haha thanks, i come from a vw background and usually all we need to know with the garretts is t3 t4 etc. thanks for the input and i will find out more tonight
