last year my stock turbo went. So I called around and the shop extreme boost said that they would sell me a turbo he just rebuilt from a 1G eclipse. So I got it well a year late it turns out that this turbo on the left had a crack in the center carterage the whole time. any way I just want to know what turbo I had and how good was it if it was in good condition. The turbo on the right is my new Big 60 trim T28. How are those turbos? do they make a lot more HP and with that turbo a 3" turbo back exhaust, hard ic piping and running 12 PSI what should my hp to the wheels and crank be around.

The 14b your looking at a little more hp.. Maybe 30 hp to the wheels, but that is with a higher boost.. (Not at 12)

I believe that T28 your looking at about the same thing as far as hp.. You might get a little more, again depending on the boost..

The nice thing with both of those, you can run 12-17 boost efficiently with the 14b
and the T28 you can run 14-18 efficiently..

if u only want to run like 15psi then its a great turbo. Does the job
