hey guys, i picked up a bunch of parts for way cheap. can anyone help me find out what turbo this is? i have done a bunch of searching and everyone seems to have a different idea of exactly what turbo it is. all i know is that it's off an older talon (92-ish)

 

Looks like a 14b turbo, its off 5 spd 1g turbo dsm's.

Can you also get a pic of the compressor wheel.

 

ok. thanks. i will get a picture up of it as soon as i get a chance. i'm guessing that mani won't bolt up to my 2000 gs without fabing it will it? has anyone ever cut and welded one? if so, anyone have any thoughts on it? time and effort compared to money to buy one that fits?

 

If its a 4g64 sohc the manifold should bolt right up.

 

thanks alot. i've still got alot of research to do. i've worked on cars all my life. motor swaps, trannys, and pretty much everything else. this turbo thing on a non turbo car is a little over my head. i've looked at alot of sites that leave alot of things out and isn't for my exact car. i need to find someone who has a write up for my exact car. with what i need to do in the correct order. complete parts list. know what i mean?
