Buying Mitsubishi in NJ area
Just wanted to share two very different experiences with Mitsu dealers in NJ.......
Firstly, my wife and visited the local dealership at Cherry Hill Mitsubishi (South NJ) and things were going well until we started to talk money. Our salesperson quoted us a figure which we were really happy with then disappeared and brought out the manager who was arrogant, condescending, patronising before telling us that he couldn't match the figure we were quoted (why were we quoted it?) and we ended up walking out. Goodness knows what his sales staff must think of this idiot.....
As we were planning a trip to North NJ we spread our net a little further and were able to do a deal over the phone for the car we were happy with and collect it a few days later. We called in advance on the day we were making the collection and when we arrived at the dealership there were balloons on the car (fully cleaned) and the Rocky theme was blaring inside the dealership and everyone was clapping and cheering. The sales staff were great and answered all my many questions - I had a nine page checklist to run through! Talk about two completely different experiences!
Thanks go to the guys at All Star Mitsubishi in South Amboy for making my first car purchase in the US a pleasurable one
