Are front strut replacement on Endeavors with coil overs possible??? These suv's have the front strut spring mount 1" above the tire making it impossible to install larger tires...??? Tried to find local shop to install some coil overs to fix this problem...no go. All the mechanics in town who say if its not in a book listed as a replacement, its not possible...???? Really??? Even suspension shops say this...How hard is it to take a coil over out of a box, hold it up to the existing strut, and make it work??? Anyone???
