Evo insurance shouldnt be that bad... I think it would likely depend on your driving record ( mines ****ed) and the state youre in

 

actually im pretty sure they are gonna be doing this to compete with the subaru WRX. It will still be slower than the evo, and will have less extra's. But should still be awd turbo

no they are totally dropping the 4g63 for the new Lancers/Evo's. It is now gonna be a 4B11 now. The plus side to this is now all of the lancers and evolutions will come with the 4b11. Obviously they will vary with internals. But this will make turbocharging the Lancers alot easier

Whats the displacement on the 4b11? But what youre telling me is that there will now be NOTHING using the famed 4g63 motor??

 

nope, nothing. Its gone . But the new engine will still be 2.0L. From what i can tell its still gonna be interference which is kinda dumb. I dont see why if they are making a new engine they stayed interference. But whatever

From driving one yesterday, I gotta say the 2.0 mivev 4b11 is a decently peppy motor.
Its putting 140whp.
But the thing that got me is how quiet it runs.
Unless you have the radio all the way down, you can't hear the motor.
