2nd g's new ride
lol yeah i hate the turbo being in the back, but it works for me!! anybody know anything about these cars? i joined the dodgeforum and they say the first thing to do to this car is put a oil catch can right away!
Why a catch can. I mean they dont do all that much. I have one and it has been EMPTY since install 3k miles though lol. I dont see why it should be a first mod over other things like a MBC and turbo back Its like putting a turbo timer on a bone stock car, unless they blow alot of oil around
i had one... for a very shor ttime but still... lol. i have more friends with SRT-4's than i know people that drive mustang's. they are very very popular down here in the CHS area. i've driven quite a few from stock up to 350whp and man do they pull. you can get 300 out of the stock turbo. anything over 250whp and i'd say your next mod should be a clutch b/c it won't last much longer after that.
^^^ true it is a neon.
i saw a red srt the other day w/ a sticker on the back saying "it's just a neon..." i thought it was pretty funny.
and i like the new caliber srt-4's. haven't seen any on the roads yet but there is a black one right around the corner from me at the dodge dealer. one thing that pissed me off was that it's still FWD and it does NOT have LSD. some kind of electronic side-2-side traction control. but 285hp is no joke and they are estimating that if you replace those MASSSSIIIVVVVEEE chrome wheels with some smaller, lighter performance wheels. it's suposed to be the equivelant of like 10whp.
