i know if i pay that much for a cell phone, i would hope it came with some high quality headphones,as for the evo subject..why would you pay a mint for it,if you know your not getting the best out of your buck? that just wouldnt make any sense...unless you just gotta have one..

 

not for the staus symbol. What the hell status symbol is it to have a type of phone? Im considering it for the 3g network and internet as well as phone features. the iPod is a + since mine is a POS. and as I said my phone is ****ting the bed

Sebba I am telling you my work phone cost 3x or more the amount of a $200 iPhone. Trust me it is a $2500 phone and it sucks royally to. Im sorry if you bought yours for the status to be the cool kid at school because he had to pay the full over priced amount of $600 when they were new, but maybe you havent noticed they have come down in price dramticly $200 for the 3g is a good deal. If you consider a iPod touch is gonna run me atleast $200 alone and a new then id still need a new phone.

as for the Evo thing. you get one for the experience. Its not secret that the clutches suck, the Tcase sucks, the paint sucks and the clear on the wing and brakes suck yet the car still cost $30k+ that was my point

 

i didnt know all that about the evo,dang you would think for 30g's they'd hook it up a lil better..asfor the iphone, most everyone i know that has one, its mostly just to show off..hey im cool with any phone as long as i have clear signal

i would definety get a iphone 3g as well but i have an ipod that works and my phone is still working ok.

And since when is $200 alot for a phone. I have bought nextel's for that price before. And your getting an ipod touch and a phone together. I see that as being a really good price. So i really dont see anything to brag about in buying one.

BTW its not $500 anymore numb nuts they went down in price. and the 3g is even less with a contract. Pluss I heard they upgraded all the POS bugs the old one had with the software

If you have an older one then why give a write-up in a thread that is asking about the 3g. The reason obiously he was asking about for opinions on the 3g was to see if anyone had the same type of complaints that came with the older versions. So naturally your opinion on this matter does not help the question in hand.
