Two styles, roots, and centrifugal.

john that's a lie. they use these on all rippmods sds kits for 3gs and tibs. not to mention in forza on some cars you have a choise of either type and I know you played forza

There are three main styles of supercharger for automotive use:
Centrifugal turbochargers—driven from exhaust gases.
Centrifugal superchargers—driven directly by the engine via a belt-drive.
Positive displacement pumps—such as the Roots and the Lysholm (Whipple) blowers.

that would make 2 main types.... if one is a turbo. and lets not also forget a blower but i guess that could technically be classified as a combination of the other 2 types.

LMAO! Someone actually bid on that thing and paid $33 for a turbo made of toilet paper rolls!!! That guy can now say that his turbo really took a dump LOL!!! His car must be a real turd! Oh God, I need to stop hahaha! Buyer beware I guess!
