I say having a chat defeats the entire purpose of the forums.

 

there are only 2 people that make threads personal convos and as of recently they are not doing it as much since it was brought up.

If you feel it is nessassery to beable to carry a personal convo and cant use AIM start a post ***** off topic thread or something but if anyone does that please keep the posts clean enough to not need moderation ... you guys know the rules

 

i dont recall how much they cost, but thats not the point...we want people to post tech questions on the forum, so that they can be answered on the forum, and future members can use that for a reference point...chat removes that reference.

as for post whoring, it doesnt bother me any, so long as its done in the OT section.

Mike has been cranky lately... car trouble bro? lol i see where Patrick is coming from and i agree. it removes the reference that somebody may be looking for.

 

Ive been catching **** for this for quite some time, though it has seemed to tone itself down since Nate and myself limited ourselvesto (semi) useful posts, lol.
