they reall are tame creatures that mostly want to be left alone, but there are a few that if you continue to harrass them (such as one i picked up at camp) will try to bite, i was at camp and i see this huge head go under water, i think "wow huge snake gotta catch it" i see it turn around ant its a snapper (2.5' shell length") whats my natural reaction? put one leg on shore put my knee on a branch and grab it, so i wrestle it ut of all the bush and **** and (me not gettin wet at all somehow) and pick it up, i carry it half a mile to a nature lodge, where they took pics...i MUST find the disc and upload the pics....she was one pissed off turt

 

Yeah we had a pretty big one come into our yard when I was younger. Now my natural reaction was to poke it with a stick.

My stick kept getting shorter lol. Luckily it didn't bite me and after the stick got pretty short I was smart enough to toss it and not keep trying.

 

JP will be on the next "When Animals Attack" episode getting mauled by snapping turtles LOL...Well if Rudolph can't guide Santa's sleigh this year that snapper may have to sub in for him LOL...So when you finger your snapper JP, does it make it happy?
