yeah mine does the whole"train aproaching" thing. It also makes this awsome noise when someone hits you with laser radar. Like the noise from cartoon ray guns back in the day. I freaked out the first time i heard it. but the voice warnings are awsome. so much better then just the beeping.

I will check it when I go to work and post when I get home. I dont feel like walking out to the car its cold and wet out.

Mine scans around my car....and when it finds a radar signal...it lets you know about 5 sec. before you hit it (Radar) Were there are radar signals it goes off...letting me know...even when i pull in to park at circle K...the door sensors make it go off ..

No it detects the signals and gives me a strength level. 1 thru 8. (or maybe its 1 thru 6.) when i got hit with the laser it went from like 2 and 3 to a 6 in a split second. Thats how I knew it hit me.

its the best cobra they had about 6 months ago...i got it for 43 cents at sam goody....my wife used to work there ....it was sale cause they were getiing new ones

LOL

but i really paid 43 cents for $175 radar dector... i used to have two but sold one on ebay for 100.00!!!
