That depends. How many points are you over and how long ago you got the points. Usually points for each ticket go away after 3 years so if you got a speeding ticket today then 3 years from today that ticket goes away as well as the points. Also you can usually get rid of some points by taking a driving course. Usually costs around $75-150 depending on where and who.
