heres a summary ... guy goes to the dealership and was told he needed to pay 6500 dollars to fix a sun roof. he went a mile down the block at a regular car repair shop and charged him 141 dollars to remove a rock stuck in the sun roof. but the dealer kept going on and on about how it needed to be replaced and everything.

what made it more upsetting was that the tech's were GOING TO MAKE 110 DOLLARS AN HOUR ON IT!

crazy? i think so ... now im thinking twice about sending my car to a dealership to get it checked out.

Man, I had a 98 E class, MBUSA will charge you for ANYTHING they can... it cost me more money to keep that car up than it would have to buy a new one at MANY times...

 

better to be a DIY than pay 6500....but thats a f***in rip off screw them

 

That does'nt happen in most dealerships, but these high end luxury dealers figure their customers are idiots with deep pockets, so they get away with that **** everyday.
