ok as most of you know i got a 96 eclipse spyder gs that needs a FULL exhaust amd some other little things
BUT my father just got a Honda Del Sol in at his shop with 2 sets of rims a stage 2 clutch and a CAI and a ricer wing [:@]
the car runs and drives wicked, and actually has more get up and go than my eclipse...but i wanna know.. is it worth the trade? even if i have to pay some?

 

Well what would be your reasons for trading?

 

D16 correct? and yes why trade? and didnt you saiy it has a ricer wing....typical honda

 

del sol is a pretty girly car, but it definately has more potential than a GS. there are no swaps for a gs. you have a lot of choices for engine swaps, and there are lots of turbo kits out there.

 

ok it was ricer owned obviously you see how ricers drive. you want to take it after knowing they hit the rev limiter in every gear all the time lol.

Dont do it. your spyder is prob worth more

 

In my opinion I would't do it!....Your Eclipse has 2 be worth more, and if you do decide 2 make the trade I would't give in any money 2 boot.

 

The Spyder has plenty of possibilities, like AWD swap, 4g63 motor swap, 4g63 head swap (2.4L turbo AWD!!!!). Del Sol, I think of it as a girly car too, it's a nice cruising car, has possibilities too (but it's still going to be Honda fast) besides, I'd rather have an MR2 (same class). Just me though. Your call of course.

 

please dont put my car in the same class as an MR2. Its insulting . I dont consider my car to be even close to a Del SLOW. I say dont do it.

I don't mean to offend, lol. I just meant that they're both two seat, tiny cars, lol. I know what you mean though, I wouldn't want it either, lol.
