Well we kinda raced........mike short shifted, hard to tell where you're at with all that noise.

yea but it would be a little closer if I Didnt shift at only 6500 when I can pull my car to 7800. because after I got into 4th gear and got up in the rpms again he stopped pulling on me and for the first few seconds nobody pulled away from anyone. I started at like 5k and went to 6500 so I short shifted real bad because my boost gauge warning light went on and I got freaked out even though it is only set at 20PSI right now I couldnt even look at the gauges when we were going because the road is mmore important

one thing to keep in mind is before the RX7 would put like 12 cars on me. I so not used to the car . the power still catches me. we were going pretty fast in the video it dont look like it but we hit around 115-120ish. I need some more practice so I dont screw up driving it like that. at least I know the RX7 is not going any where so I can always race it when ever. we want to try a stop now between the 2.

 

very nice race... also the rx7 is alot lighter than the EVO and they can rev much higher than a cyl car. props to you mike for stickin w/ it so far/long. i wanna see the race at about 22-23lbs and fully shifting!!! that will be a great race. whats the max psi ur plannin on running in the end? and what kind of power is that ST rx putting down?

 

I wouldnt be ashamed to lose to that rx7... That rx7 is an awesome car and has a lot of work done to it.

 

I was on 20-21PSI I plan on 24 daily on 93 and 29-30 on race or meth. The RX7 is pushing prob in the area of 375 untuned too. well it is a NESpeed specail tune since it is from us messing around tuning his stand alone ourselves
