Default A few new shots

Well I've done probably about the last mod I'm going to do to my car before I take her 1200 miles to Branson MO. I'll be there June 5th-8th at Dick Clark's Area 57. Of course I'll be detailing, washing, and waxing the car before I go (Not that it'll look much better lol) but here is what my engine bay looks like after the new OVCP hardpipe:

If I can manage to score a couple t-bolt clamps I'll put them on to hold instead of the ones the week screw style that are there now but at the moment I can't spring for them (Since gas prices are on the rise yet again). I'll be travelling with my wastegate disconnected to improve my fuel economy (My 8 mile 1 way trip to work is scoring me between 13 and 16 MPG due to me having a heavy foot lol).

Guess I'll put a few more pics up for those wanting to see more. I know she doesn't look pretty but she'll give anything out there a run for it's money.

How are you MPGs so low. The supra is getting 21MPG and that is around 400WHP lol. A fresh coat of paint and that thing would be awsome.

My MPG is so low because I can't keep my foot out of the gas pedal. I've had torque steer quite a few times just starting out from a light. I also thing I need to find a 1G Turbo eclipse MAS since they are a little more accurate and are a plug n play mostly for these cars.

What have you done to the engine itself? I think that's another reason mine is so bad. I've bored it out .020 over with Wiseco 8.5:1 forged pistons, 1mm over-sized valves, 100# valve springs, 3" turbo back exhaust and a 14G turbo. I'm sure just about every one of those effects my fuel economy adversely. Not to mention I ripped the EGR system and charcoal canister out completely.

The bottom end on my car is fully built. Not sure the details though because the old owners had it done. Either way my car is creeping up on 400WHP still so who knows

I'm about maxed out on what I can do for HP on the TBI setup. If I want to take it further, I'll be going MPI and that'll entail replacing the intake manifold, intake, all piping to and from the IC, adding something like a megasquirt system, ETC. It's been done and it's put similar cars up into the 600WHP range but I just don't need that on a daily driver.

Last thing I really have to do as it sits performance wise is a cam.
