Default getting back in the game

Hey guys, well the del slow project is coming to an end, i should be done by the end of the year and with that, starting a 6 bolt build that will probably last all year. meaning by 2010 i'll hopefully be in the market for a gsx shell... i've learned my lesson from the whole getting fired/bankruptzy deal and will be doing the the right way before somebody wants to get smart with me again. So let the DSM fun begin.
Me and a buddy will be building/assembling the engine in his garage/shop where he's build a few other beasts including a 390whp turbo'd GSR engine, apx 400whp cobalt SS engine and so on. I'm shooting for the 500whp mark so i'll be taking my time and doing it right with all the right parts which is why it will take me a full year to do.
So just trying to keep in touch and let everybody know what's goin on. Wish me luck and i'll keep you posted once i start the build.

Congrats dude!

So glad everything is finally coming together for you, and you are no longer in financial crisis.

Welcome back.

thanks guys. yes, no more financial crisis. luckily i actually moved in with a financial advisor as a roommate so that has helped a lot.

del slow is in the process of getting it's 99-00 JDM EK front end on it right now and should be done within a week or so. (not fun nor easy... taking my time to make sure it's done right!) after that, my x-mas present to myself will be the paint job and then i'm done.
all in all everything i have done/will be done is:
93 del sol S
JDM GSR engine swap
Fidanza Prolite flywheel
stage 2 clutch
Skunk2 Intake manifole
Skunk2 68mm Throttle Body
Password JDM Carbon fiber CAI
Hy-Tech 4-2-1 header
High flow cat (probably will swap out for high flow resonator)
Greddy evo2 catback.
Tein Super Street Fully Adjustable Coilovers
Skunk2 Adjustable camber kit in front and rear
Konig Helium Bronze 16" wheels
Kuhmo Ecstas
I'm sure down the road i'll add a few nic-nacs but for the most part... i'm done with it.
Long term future mods:
Front and Rear Anti-Roll bars
Front and Rear Strut Bars
Wire Tuck
Powdercoated Valve cover
and that's about it.

I have so many ideas just flying through my head about the GSX already but also already getting ahead of myself as i won't be actually buying one for another year and change.
Anyways, nice to be back and see everybody is doing well. Ttyl.

Bah, just sell the Sol Ron. Get it over with and cut your losses, so-to-speak.
Good to see you back too.

I agree with silver. Plus you sell the sol and then you have a chunk of change for the GSX to start a lil early
