exterior modifications that you think are good or ugly

Good: Tasteful rims and angel eye headlamps

The Ugly: big dumb body kits, chrome everywhere, silverish half tint windows, and chrome altezza tail lamps (find them to be extremely ugly just buy the black ones lol)

I'm just starting a random thread because here recently i've been seeing more and more body-kitted eclipses with chrome altezza tail lamps why cant people just go back to molesting their Honda's. lol

 

I HATE colored rims. I think they are so tacky but I love tinted windows

The only reason I would buy a pair of chrome altezza tail lamps for my Galant is if I can't find a good pair of Tail lamps to match my Black Halo headlamps. and smoking them out wouldn't look good on a creme car.

 

Smoked tail lights are looking worse and worse. I see it everywhere on everything quite literally, Toyota Camry's old truck's even a poor little evo 9 that had the blacked tail lights didn't make much sense to me..

 

Chrome is for Muscle! I say drop the car an inch or two, slap on sum tasteful 17"/18" brushed or polished rims, the proper percentage of tint (so it looks good w/ the paint), maybe a nice tip or muffler and call it good. All the chrome trim, slammin a car to the deck, and rims so big they look like they belong on a jumbo jet are just plain tacky *** hell! And plz don't get me started on smoked lenses.... My 75 yo gma has a ford 500 w/ smoked tails. She thought it was kool.... Cuz i mean if ya cant smoke sum one w/o havin to worry bout breakin ur neck or gettin ejected out the sun roof becuz the ride is so rough, or gettin blinded by all the "bling", whats the point? And sum body kits look good and sum don't. It just depends if the owner has the ability to find a kit that goes well w/ the body lines of his or her car. Over all I say just put all ur money under the hood and in side the car, cuz sum ppl just don't have the ability to make a car look good.
