He would have too. Im sure that a snapped rod does enough damage to the walls to be un repaired for the most part but the damage could have been alot worse than a loud rod knock. I had chuncks of rod and bearings all burnt up sitting in the middle of the road

 

haha ya, that happened to my friends car, she threw a rod through the oil pan late this spring and was spewin oil all over the track
