Now hold on a sec I have a wing (Not like that) on my daily driver. And it DOES make a difference. 9Then again going through the hills of wV anything will make a difference).

Yeah O.K. YOU try driving my Sentra up and down the windy hills of WV. I'm telling you from EXPERIENCE the wing on my FWD DOES help. You are getting down force that is keeping the LIGHTER rear end of the car on the road instead of in the air.

That only factors in on a takeoff. From the line and building speed yeah you need the downforce to grip the road. In my car (AGAIN pay attention to the fact that I'm driving around in the FOOTHILLS of the appelachians with decent grades up and down at or above 70 MPH with semi's around). Now take and drive up and down hill the fron being on the ground isn't the problem as the engine and trans weight keep the wheels on the ground QUITE easily. NOW think about the rear of the car WITHOUT all that weight to hold it to the ground. The only way to keep it on the ground without a few bags of concrete? A SPOILER. So again I'm telling you the spoiler DOES, whether you choose to believe me or not, have an effect on the handling of my car in some of the areas I drive.

On that topic, a wing on any car can have a affect on it, either good or bad, no matter if its FWD, RWD or AWD. The wing is more for stability and high speed traction. Not for off the line grip. Like for instance the wing on my car does ****!! actually it hurts me I cant go over 125-130 (not that I do that sort of thing). So one of these days it will come off when I feel like repainting it. This argument its a stale mate, you could go on and on and on and on and on and on about this.............You're both right.
