3 platforms. all share a 4b11 block
1 is NA
1 is turbo FWD
1 is turbo AWD and all the goodies
^^remind you of something
1g GS 4g63 na
1G GSt 4g63 FWD turbo
1G GSX 4g63 AWD Turbo
EMonz is right that they are doing the same as the 1g eclipses and in the same a 1g GS eclipse is not where you want to start if you want to go fast i previously had an 05 lancer ES i had started to upgrade things but it turned into a money pit b/c you have to do everything thats why i went to an 06 RA better tranny engine suspension i just dont know how much i like the new body style or else i would of got one but just personal opinion now the new 08s come a little more sporty and now they all share the same block but not the same internals thats why like EMonz said the Evo is lower compresion for the turbo and the n/a is is higher so if you plan on putting a turbo into the n/a lancer than if you want to run at peak you would need to swap some internals to get a turbo setup
