i see your point and if i were in yoru shoes and knew me... i'd probably give myself the same advice but there are a couple reasons im geting rid of the bike, not just for money reasons. on saturday on the way back form the beach i was taking a turn (not fast, not stupid, just riding) and i must have hit an oil spot or wet spot or something b/c the back tire broke loose and i was petty close to losing it. the rear end swung out to the side of the bike and i was basically drifting the corner unpurposly (i bet it did look bad *** though lol) and almost died b/c i was goin about 40'ish. anyways the road that i turned onto from this turn was where i almost died the second time that day. in the left lane 3 cars up a big dodgs ram was stopped trying to turn left and i guess the person behind him didn't see him stopped and slammed on their brakes... well that person stopped just barely before hitting the truck but the 3rd person (the one just barely infront of me... just about beside me) wasn't gonna stop in time so she decided to swerve into my lane rather than take the hit... well she stopped about 20-30feet infront of me and i locked both brakes up and did a pretty well lifted indo in order to stop... i was PPPIIISSSSSSSEEEDDD but 10 mins later when i got home i was pretty freaked and haven't ridden the bike since. reaons number 2 is that honestly... i like driving a sporty car better than ridinga bike. the only thing i lke more about riding the bike is the speed and leaning in the turns. 3. i don't have anybody to ride w/... i ahve several friends who have bikes but nobody ever just wants to ride... so i just ride by myself. Riding on the bike is becoming nothing more than another form of transportation... just riskier. i may get a bike in another coupel years but i'm good for now.
so no, i'm not irrationally thinking and just throwing the bike on for sale w/o thinking... this kinda came at an oportune tim b/c i wasn't sure what i was gonna do about the bike after almost wreckin twice in one day. but thanks for bein so straight up.
as for saving money and getting what i really want. well you know that i've always wanted a GSX.. before hondas, the evo, srt-4 or anything else i've always wanted a gsx. and if i can't afford to get an EVO right now in my life... i'll take the gsx, ride it around until i can afford it. i'm sure if i do end up getting a gsx that you will be impressed w/ it after a few months of workin on it. i LOVED my eclipse, even though some... well, all of my firends were faster than me, i still loved my eclipse. they are by far the sexist car driving on the roads IMO. i'm not bias i'm just being honest, it's always been my favorite car. anytime i see a 2gb cruisin down the road w/ a turbo spoiler i'm basically wrenching my neck to get every look at it i can lol.

well sorry for writing a book but i just wanted to validate my decision. i'm sorry i'm not geting an evo like i said i would but i'm sure i'll be on this site for many many years to come so mabey in2 or 3 years i can make you happy by getting a nice EVO IX lol.
And I can totally understand this beive me. Like I said to you before what is more impressive a fast car or a bike that anyone could buy and go fast in? remember when you were like yea and youll spend all this money on your evo and my bike will still smoke you all day? that is why I get pissy at that remark because anyone can buy a bike and brag about it being fast but building a car to be fast enough to hang with a bike is a hell of alot more impressive and IMO better to drive lol.

like I said though ... make sure you get what you truly want, I could care less if you get an Evo a DSM a honda or what but I know you and so far a few week-months later you want something new lol. If you get a DSM make sure it is worth every dime(and its awd too hahaha)

you don't have to worry... it WILL be awd, trust me there. i do believe that i will be EXTREMELY happy w/ the GSX and will not want another car for a long time. i would have kept the other eclipse if it was fast... or could be fast. i think if i incorperate the speed part into the eclipse, that i won't be getting rid of this car for years and years. yes ur right about the bike statement it was dumb for me to say and again i'm sorry.

haha nope. always been there, always will be there. if i get a shell the first thing i'm prolly gonna do is paint it b/c the engine will be out. it's eiter going to be a dark orange (same orange that comes on the new GSX-R's) or white. it will have a cf hood, cf hatch, black roof, cf lip and i'd like to get a 1 off rear bumper similar to the VIII and IX JDM rear bumpers.
