My bro just bought a 01 teggy type R and it was driving perfect, no ticks, knocks rattles anything. i was talking to he he said he was driving home and it randomly died on him. he said it cranks and cranks and cranks, but wont fire. he is getting spark to all plugs, he has good compression, no slapping/ticking/odd noises when turning over. he is getting fuel to his plugs also, i suggested maybe too much fuel but he let it sit over night and still nothing. this is his only car and is stumped on what it could be.. please help if you know anything about these cars.

 

Timing belt im guessing.

if it was the timing belt wouldnt it just crank really really fast?? maybe not even crank.. and no it wasnt raining

 

It can crank just normally.

Pull off the top of the cover and see

 

alright man, i was thinking timing belt earlier buti didnt think it would crank right.. i dont live by him so i told him he said he will later.. meaning tomorrow lol.. thnx man, and any other suggestions will be taken into consideration

 

hey, he just told me that there is a weird high pitched noise coming from the intake manifold after he tries to start it.. i dont know if thats normal..i have never heard it in any car before..

 

fule+spark and it still wont run... my guess is some gay electrical sensor.

 

LMAO some gay electrical sensor.. that is helpfull lol.. there are millions of gay electrical sensors on cars now adays haha

 

That high pitched noise is prolly the fuel pump priming.

 

thats what makes it so fun lol
