Hey I was just courious how often 2g DSMs are stolen? Does anyone know? Like on a scale of 1-10 as a risk factor, I haven't really heard of it so i was just wondering.

 

I have only heard of one.... that was GSXLex on DSMTalk. Poor dude.

i think its lower than 3...i've tried to get mine stolen..let them deal with the problems :-p

 

ya.. Id say a 0, b/c they usually cant get them started when they try to steel them.. Usually they just take the rims

 

Either that or the pos breaks down halfway down the street,lol

 

Area is clearly a big factor. We'll never know how many get stolen a year, not eveybody who owns a dsm is a members of online forums.

my friend got his 1g awd tsi stollen when he was at school a few months ago. he said they must have jimmied the locks cause there was no broken glass or anything around. the cops found it about a month later completely gutted
