i say do it... your evo is nice but a TT supras is nicer.... stick or not...and its also targa top right? (i think thats the name of it..) dont forget to post pics of it in line with the other 2 NESPEED cars.. 6 turbos 3 cars..that would be a nice lil slogan :-p lol

 

but then again it really comes down to the condition of the car
just sell ur evo for the highest price possible on autotrader and save around 5-7K and BAM
you will have a 6 speed TT Supra, a nice one to boot too
i dont know ur circumstances but thats an option

My EVO has never been run but with a good 60ft at the track I would run ROughly a 12.7ish at maybe 105MPH This supra ran a 12.8 at 120MPH with a 2.5 60foot which is terrible so the driver was horrid. a 120mph trap is good for low 12s high 11s if the launch permitts

id still much rather have a supra over those things. So one of them got over 700 hp on tt. But i am willing to bet that it was not on stock internals which the supra is capable of.

 

supra can far surpass 700HP on stock internals.

 

I never said they were slow....I said they were gay and that they are look at them TA's are big ugly boats they are massive. I see johns dads all the time its cool but for the $20k something that is cost him it was not worth it at all. espeically since my EVO would scholl it big time now that is sad

 

so....whats the plan? are you going to return the evo back to stock? and just keep modding your mods to fit the supra? lol...i dont think a 3rd gen eclipse intake will go onto a tt supra :-p

 

Your right, they cant reach 700hp on the stock internals. Its said that they can only hold 8psi. But guy who I work with has a 00 ss with a s/c and is running 14psi on the stock internals... along with a huge cam. By far the fastest car I have ever ridden in.

 

The intake can fit. Its not like I took it straight off the eclipse and it fits the EVO, We has to cut it trim it and design it basically. So it would be no different after that
