Yeah actually, im kinda purist about the eclipse though, i just think its PERFECT this way, specially the 97-99 ***, i like rides looking stock or if theyre gonna have some exterior mod, it should be PERFECT AND FLAWLESS... or else not doing it, but i guess it'll all depends if its gonna be a daily drive car, or full race, the car type and what the owner likes, after all thats what tunning is, not for speed, but for needs

well i'm a perfectionist about cars! really, that's why i rarely take short cuts or the cheaper route out... i can't stand patchy jobs or half assing something when it comes to cars unless ppl just dont care.

YEAH!! exactly!! if youre in for the cheaps, why tune up a car at all? its a costly hobby, if you pick it, its cuz you have the chance, and doing lame almost done jobs or patchy... will cost like thrice. I also dislike when people its ALL about the looks and not the car itself, you see a car thats spend thousands on body kits, dumb paint, but you can see part of the tranny or engine hanging cuz of borken motor mounts... or just plain smoking the whole street. Like escorts... ugh i hate the ford escort!

well i can see some ppl doing a lot of extereior mods just for show quality and b/c they like the look of it... and thats thier deal. i'm sure they will love to brag about how they have 15 tropheys but run a 15 in the eighth. i did the whole looks thing, it was a phase.. i'm done w/ it! i can't wait to get my GSX. i've learned so much working my car that i know exactly what i want to do and exactly how i want to do it!!

Yeah, actually, you learn by messing things up, and thats VALUABLE experience, and yeah i gotta agree that ive dropped my jaw to the floor with just exterior mods in car shows and stuff... but growing up with an 83 gti well.... haha you stop worrying about the looks and more about keeping the engine running, i have to stuck in the throttle wire with a piece of newspaper once... haha, fun times. And if you ask me, if thats your ride on your av it doesnt look too ricey or all about the looks. it looks well taken care of and not actually all about its look (not to mention i dont have any doubt in my mind that you know your ****) so yeah...in concluusion... tempos and escorts ftl! seriously XD
