Default importing a car to the US.

Ok so here is the deal i want to import my favorite car.. I don't really know how to and how much. the car only being about 2000 american. im only looking to spend about 9-10k once i sell my mustang.. any help appreciated.

where do you live, continental US or outer states?. and what are you importing? make sure to check out your customs laws about eligibility for importing and any restrictions that may be in place. in Canada we have a few retarded laws you have to dance around.

i dont know shoppers for the US. i only know canadian shoppers.

You can get it in the country, but you will NEVER be able to register it for street use.

Its as difficult as importing and registering a Skyline. If it was done, it was done illegally and they had connections some place high up, and probably paid a nice lump sum.

That said, if you want someone to scout cars, I still have contacts in England that could find you a suitable specimen.
